Sapphire Reptiles is a family operation and we work hard to ensure healthy, quality reptiles.

FOR URGENT HEALTH CONCERNS, PLEASE SEEK A VETERINARIAN IMMEDIATELY

 

The health and well-being of our animals and customer satisfaction are our top priorities. Our animals are sold at various reptile and exotic animal expos. All animals have passed a close inspection to ensure there are no birth defects, are in good health, and have a healthy appetite. Should you have concerns about the health of your pet, please contact me. This is not a health guarantee and I do not provide refunds for unwanted animals or animals that have not been cared for properly since leaving my possession.

 

If your Crested Gecko has dropped its tail - don't worry! This is a common occurrence and typically heals on its own. Reach out to me should you need additional information on resources regarding after-care for a gecko that has dropped its tail.

 

It is the buyer's responsibility to provide appropriate care for the animal once it has left our possession. We are happy to provide care sheets and answer follow-up questions or concerns regarding the care of your animal.

 

I am not a veterinarian and ALWAYS recommend taking your animal to the closest exotic veterinarian as soon as possible - this ensures the care of your animal is addressed by a professional and treatment is received immediately. 

 

PAYMENTS

We currently accept cash, Venmo, Zelle, and Square (at reptile shows and expos) as forms of payment. Unless otherwise arranged, payment is due at the time of purchase.

DEPOSITS TO HOLD FOR PICK-UP

To hold an animal until pick-up at a reptile show or other arranged pick-up, we require a non-refundable $50 deposit per animal. The animal must be picked up within 60 days or other arrangements made. Buyer must be responsive to contact within 7 days or the deposit and animal hold are both forfeit.

 

PAYMENT PLANS

We accept payment plans on a case-by-case basis, please get in touch with us if interested. All payment plans require a non-refundable deposit of $50 or 25% (whichever is greater) and must be completed within the agreed-upon time of payment. Should a payment plan be in place, the animal will not be delivered until full payment has been received. Buyer must make payments at least every 14 days and be responsive to contact within 7 days or the deposit and animal hold are both forfeit. If an emergency or other issue arises that makes it so you are unable to complete payment, please contact me - I know life happens and I am happy to work with you!

IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO KEEP YOUR PET

Should you ever need to find a new home for your pet, I may be able to take it back (depending on a number of factors such as space limitations), but cannot offer any recompense, refund, or other monetary reimbursement. The pet will stay in my care until it is deemed healthy enough to be rehomed for a nominal fee or will stay in my care permanently. 

These terms are set to ensure high standards of animal care and customer service. The buyer confirms they are at least 18 years of age and able to care for and house the animal properly. Care sheets written by ReptiFiles can be found on our website and is what we recommend for ideal care of your reptile. By completing payment for an animal from Sapphire Reptiles, the buyer agrees that they have read, accepted, and agreed to abide by all terms and conditions set by these policies.
